Make pistils

Bôi 1 ít keo sữa vào phần thân giấy liền mạch của nhụy hoa. Cuộn tròn vào phần đầu của cây tre, cuộn từ từ để giữ chặt nhụy hoa vào đầu cây. Dùng ngón tay để ấn cho phần đầu nhụy xòe ra.

Apply the glue to the blank area of the pistil, then roll it around the end of the stick, and hold it for a while to allow the glue to set. Use your fingers to gently press the pistil to spread it out.

Bôi 1 ít keo sữa vào 1 cánh hoa ngoài cùng. Chồng và dán 2 cánh hoa ngoài cùng lại với nhau, lưu ý 2 cánh hoa cần chồng vừa đúng lên nhau, không được chồng chỉ nửa cánh hoa. Giữ vài giây cho keo vừa khô. Cánh hoa khi dán đúng sẽ làm cho bông hoa khum đẹp và tạo ra 1 lỗ tròn đều bên trong. Làm tương tự với các lớp hoa khác.

Apply glue to an outer petal. Stack two outer petals together and hold for a few seconds to ensure they stick well. Note that the two petals should fit snugly together to form the funnel shape; half stacking is incorrect. Repeat with the rest of the flowers.

Xỏ các lớp cánh hoa vào cây tre và bôi keo sữa vào chân của mỗi lớp cánh hoa. Lớp cánh hoa có ít cánh nhất nằm trên cùng, lớp cánh hoa có nhiều cánh nhất nằm dưới cùng. Thread the flower layers onto the bamboo stick and apply a small amount of glue to the bottom part of each flower layer. Arrange the layers from small to big, with the smallest at the top and the largest at the bottom. Push the layers up to the pistil and hold them for a few seconds to ensure the glue sets well.

Use the green washi tape to wrap it diagonally around the bamboo stick, starting from the bottom of the flower and extending to the end.

Repeat the same process as making the flower, but with smaller flower bud layers and fewer petals, which requires more careful and skillful work.

Making leaves

Gập đôi lá theo chiều dọc sống lá. Lá sẽ chỉ được đính vào thân cây ở phần cuối của lá vì vậy chỉ bôi 1 chút keo vào phần dưới chân lá. Đặt lá xiên xéo theo thân cây để phần có keo sữa tiếp xúc với thân cây. Giữ chặt vài giây để lá kết dính vào thân hoa. Làm tương tự để lá ôm dọc thân và nằm so le nhau.

Fold the leaf vertically. Only the bottom is attached to the stem, thus apply a small amount of glue to the bottom of the leaf. Place the leaf at an angle with the stem, making sure the glued part touches the stem. Hold for a few seconds to ensure they stick together well. Repeat with another leaf to stagger the leaves.
